This 1.5M-square-foot project consists of the construction of two, 37-story, reinforced concrete, pre-stress/post-tensioned mid-rise residential towers. The towers will sit on an eight -story platform of retail, electronic signage, and parking.

This two-phase project consisted of the building of a new 7-story hospital, central utility plant, hospital support building, and parking structure on Kearny Mesa Boulevard. This new facility was at one point one of San Diego’s most valuable structures project and is provided centralized tertiary services for San Diego County and functions as a partial replacement facility for the current San Diego Medical Center.

The City of San Diego requested a structural condition assessment of the Ocean Beach Pier. This consisted of inspection and completely evaluating the structural deterioration of the Ocean Beach Pier by means of visual inspection and testing with underwater and above water inspections to observe damage and deterioration to the structural components of the pier.

The new $152 million courthouse features 15 courtrooms and encompasses 169,147-square-feet. It will be six stories above ground and include a basement level. The new courthouse replaces the existing courthouse and resolve operational efficiencies and ongoing savings through consolidation of current court services.

The Taxiway L improvement project will primarily consist of the removal of existing asphalt concrete surfaces, performing necessary excavation and grading, recompacting existing soil, constructing storm drain improvements, installing pavement markings and striping, taxiway edge lighting and signs, runway guard lights and construct new pavement sections: Portland Cement Concrete (PCC) pavements (P-501) over Cement Treated Base (P-301) on Cement Treated Subgrade (P-156).

Twining provided quality control services for this project which consisted of the installation of transformers at multiple chase banks throughout the Los Angeles County and Orange County.

This project consisted of utility upgrades and the expansion of Lockheed Martin’s Plant 10 in Palmdale.

The San Onofre nuclear plant with its instantly recognizable twin domes have entered retirement. The $5 billion decommissioning and demolition is considered one of the largest and most complex decommissioning projects in the country.

The County of San Diego is constructing 40 megawatts (MW) of battery energy storage located on approximately 4.22-acres off East Mission Road in the unincorporated community of Fallbrook. When completed, the storage facility will be the largest in the San Diego County region.
